MY FAVORITE SPOT :

PAMUKKALE - COTTON CASTLE

This is called Pamukkale - Pamuk (cotton) + Kale (castle).

This place was named Pamukkale when the Turkish people first saw this. They thought of these mountains of calcium as cotton and hereby named it Pamukkale. They also thought this place was blessed by god because of the healing properties in the water.

BEST TIME TO VISIT TURKEY :

March to October is the best time to visit Turkey.

Turkey’s currency is called Lira. 1 USD is equivalent to 18.35 Turkish Lira.

HIERAPOLIS :

I am mentioning this place separately because its history is very interesting.  

Hierapolis is a place in Turkey where Turkish never lived. This is where Romans used to live. In the pic above a Roman theater is visible in which big ceremonies like bull fighting were held.

HIGHLIGHTS OF MY TRIP :

CAPPADOCIA ( hot air balloon ) AND PRIVATE FERRY RIDE WERE THE TWO HIGHLIGHTS OF MY TRIP.
