MY FAVORITE SPOT : PAMUKKALE - COTTON CASTLE This is called Pamukkale - Pamuk (cotton) + Kale (castle). This place was named Pamukkale when the Turkish people first saw this. They thought of these mountains of calcium as cotton and hereby named it Pamukkale. They also thought this place was blessed by god because of the healing properties in the water. BEST TIME TO VISIT TURKEY : March to October is the best time to visit Turkey.
